A manipulative sentence building activity using Post-it¨ Notes printed with the symbols used for sentence construction. Each symbol is printed on a packet of 50 Post-it¨ Notes. The Sentence Builder folder has the symbols printed on one side for Post-it¨ Note display. The other side of the folder has lines where students build and manipulate sentence structure. It also contains the punctuation marks for the punctuation Post-it¨ Notes. This activity allows students to apply the skills taught in each unit as they expand their knowledge of sentence structure. The Post-it¨ Note manipulative assists students as they mentally station their words and manipulate the sentence pieces to design their sentences. It is also used as students edit their sentences for design, punctuation, and variety. These folders can be laminated and are non-consumable. Set of 10 folders.
