About Language Circle/Project Read

Language Circle Enterprises is the proud producer of the Project Read curriculum, a complete Language Arts program that accommodates a diverse array of learning profiles. Authored and developed by Victoria Greene and Mary Lee Enfield, PhD., the Project Read curriculum is divided into three major strands: Phonics, Reading Comprehension, and Written Expression. These three curricular strands explore the broad spectrum of skills necessary to build a comprehensive understanding of written and spoken language. Using visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile activities, along with body language and multisensory strategies, students construct lasting pathways across each strand that foster a complete literary skill-set, and transfers to permanent knowledge.

Language Circle aims to support not only students, but educators as well. Project Read programs are designed to empower teachers by arming them with the instructional strategies necessary to implement each curricular strand. To reach and affect students, Language Circle understands that ensuring fidelity among educators must be the first priority. Language Circle understands the pressure placed upon teachers to ensure student success, and readily comes to their rescue with a program that penetrates all diverse learning profiles. Embedded in each curriculum strand are resources, strategies, and instructional support designed to supplement each stage of learning. Language Circle also offers educational webinars, in-service trainings, and on-going coaching to motivate teachers and keep them up to date on any changes or additions to the curriculum.

By helping educators understand that every student learns in a unique and individualized manner, and tailoring activities and curriculum to meet this challenge, Language Circle provides teachers with the tools and knowledge necessary to reach and effect every student.

When teachers are making a difference in the lives of their students, the goal of Language Circle is being realized.
